Based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, Tameside College is a further education college that offers a wide range of courses including full-time, part-time, apprenticeships and university level.

In common with many educational establishments, Tameside College needed an addressing lookup solution for its customer facing website to improve visitor experience and ensure that any data captured is captured quickly and accurately.

Before we used PCA Predict (then Postcode Anywhere), when students were filling in forms we’d be presented with inconsistent and inaccurate address data. We use the captured data to send out student prospectuses so it’s vital that the collateral ends up on the right doorstep. Not only are our un-deliverables expensive to resend but often it can mean the difference between someone enrolling with us or not. PCA Predict’s technology has helped us to considerably reduce the number of abortive postal collateral, namely our college prospectuses which are a critical marketing tool for us.

“Adopting PCA Predict’s service has quickened the process of people entering their address details without slowing down our landing page which is important to us as it means it doesn’t need a lot of maintenance.”

The education industry is highly competitive, particularly in this geographic area. Once we have collected the clean data we can populate our database using the captured data which we can also use for on-going marketing purposes.

Since using the address finder on our website we’ve noticed an increase in online applications and student enrolments. The time and wasted resource that PCA Predict’s service has saved us in not having to manually update address data means that it has literally paid for itself.

Website visitors have a much better and quicker registration process experience as we have significantly helped to decrease the amount of keystrokes it takes a person to register as well as our ability to capture clean data.
